Shipping & Delivery

Arranging international transport for a valuable classic car can feel overwhelming. We make it simple by guiding you through every step, from departure to arrival. We manage every detail of international transport, with trusted partners and full insurance, delivering your car safely to the final destination.

Shipping Options

Depending on your budget, timeline, and level of protection, there are three main methods:

  • RoRo (Roll-on/Roll-off) – from ~€2,000

The most cost-effective option, where the car is driven into a secure ship and tied down. Sea transport typically takes 2–4 weeks, while air freight is much faster.

  • Shared Container – from ~€5,000

Added protection, as your vehicle travels in a sealed container with others.

  • Air Freight – from ~€15,000

The fastest method—your car can arrive and clear customs in as little as one week.

Documentation & Insurance

To ship, you will need:

  • Vehicle title or registration (depending on origin)
  • Sales contract
  • Buyer’s personal ID or passport

We also recommend transport insurance, which we can arrange at approx. 1.5% of the car’s value + shipping cost. This protects your purchase from pickup to delivery.

Customs & Final Delivery

Once the vehicle arrives, it must clear customs. Import duties vary depending on country regulations, and we’ll make sure you know these costs in advance.

After clearance, we can arrange land transport to your garage or dealership or coordinate pickup directly at the port, if you prefer.

With the documents provided, you’ll be ready to register and enjoy your car.

We work with CFR Rinkens for most of our international vehicle shipping needs . As global leaders of their industry for over 25 years, we trust them to safely pick-up and deliver your car.

Here is a batch of cars we had acquired for US customers leaving from Italy. From the moment they are picked up, to when they are delivered to you, they can be insured against damage or total loss for a small fee. We strongly recommend this extra option as it's literally "cheap insurance".
